Analysis of Temporal Data Management in the Intelligent Transport System

Michal Kvet, Karol Matiaško · 2018

Traffic and road load becomes one of the most severe problems. A number of vehicles is continuously rising, but the network capacity is not adapted for such environment properties. Passengers and goods must be on target in time, which is still a more demanding problem. This paper deals with the analysis of temporal data management provided by the users, infrastructure and direct communication between nodes in the ad-hoc network. The aim is to verify provided and distributed data, as well as optimization of the data flow and complex information. Data managed in the intelligent transport system is always time and position delimited. For these purposes, we introduce temporal database based on attribute granularity with emphasis on transfer optimization, whereas the processing time is strictly delimited by the ad-hoc network. Reliability and data quality is one of the significant performance focus, as well.
