LWT Based Hybrid Digital Watermarking Scheme in YCbCr Colour Space

Mehak Saini · 2018

Digital watermarking has emerged as a main technology for protecting the digital images from geometric distortions and illegal manipulations. There is always a need for an effective watermarking scheme that is robust and keeps the visual perceptibility of the original media intact. LWT (Lifting wavelet transform) based hybrid scheme reported in this paper is a successful attempt to achieve this objective. Performance of the scheme is tested for seven different types of image pairs. The scheme has been proved to be more efficient in terms of perpetual quality, computational time and robustness (in presence of various attacks such as blurring, motion blurring, cropping etc.) as Peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) & Correlation coefficient for the proposed scheme are found to be much better than that reported in the literature.
