Mesh Generation from a Scan of a Special 3D Scanner

A 3D scanner is being developed at BME AAIT for which several software modules are needed.A special point cloud processing part has been developed, where a 3D shaded model is generated from the points.This includes the development of a special structure which can easily handle a lot of points and is able to perform special operations in a reasonable time.Considering the potentially huge size of the point cloud, it is essential to implement most of the methods in such a way that their algorithmic complexity is as low as possible.
