In order to solve the problem of the consuming resources of animation, the idea of distributed rendering is proposed. This paper from the stand of the distributed rendering, emphasized the importance of the evaluation of rendering task's complexity quantitative through the analysis of the distributed rendering system architecture. In this paper, we proved three factors include the visual number of Triangular face, the pixel of the output image and the complexity of the object motion in the scene have important impact on the rendering time by analyzing the results of experiment. At the same time, a method based on the above three factors is proposed to evaluate the complexity of rendering task. The algorithm proposed is helpful for the optimal dynamic task assignment scheme and the construction of distributed system architecture.
