Survey on Clustering Techniques

In this article, we present the comprehensive review of several existing clustering algorithms. Our preliminary focus is on the existing MST-based clustering techniques. Here, we describe the various methodologies developed to deal with the problems faced by MST-based clustering in case of complex data. Then, we pay the attention on providing a detailed study of the clustering algorithms developed using the Voronoi diagram. Next, we provide a tiny report on the algorithms developed to solve the random initialization problem of the K-means. Then, we present an extensive survey on density-based clustering techniques. Here, we describe the common problems and the existing solutions of density-based clustering methods. Finally, we furnish the intense information about number of grid-based clustering algorithms.
