Military software safety engineering

Based on general investigation of military system and software included, it proposes that safety requirement military software should be captured and validated from the whole system involving software, equipment and system, even military stratagem as well. Software safety process is developed following software developing lifecycle. combining software developing lifecycle of waterfall model, ship combat system design and development, and software safety process, software safety developing procedure is put forward basing on U model involving domain knowledge. An application instance is present to prove the practicability of the study. Research results in this paper including military software safety requirement evolvement model, and development model for military software safety have positive guiding significance to ensure military system safety.
