Most real-life networks are always heterogeneous, combining the best features of two or more networks. However, for networks using mobile nodes, the movement of the mobile node has a significant impact on the simulation results. Thus, over the last decade, much research has been done to develop a mobility model that is appropriate for evaluating the performance of heterogeneous networks. The existing models of mobility vary widely in their realism: from completely artificial to very realistic, and also from their statistical properties. For research purposes, we considered four mobility scenarios: Randomwalk, Manhattan, GaussMarkov, and SLAW models. These four mobility models have been selected to represent in future application.
