In large scalar distributed applications offloading of tasks to the cloud is required to handle more queries. The applications like peer to peer search uses cloud assisted search for handling spikes in queries and to enhance performance for query evaluation. Here the public cloud is used for the elastic search services. The decision of offloading of queries by considering the constraints present in cloud makes the decision at node a difficult operation. In this paper we present a novel algorithm at node level to offload queries to cloud. Each node in the cluster are connected to each other by their network with bandwidths so decision of offloading queries in to the cloud is done with the inexact global view. Based on the resources and bandwidth consumed by the query the cost is dynamically calculated at the cloud platform to decide on offloading.
