Linear System on Dimension-Varying State Space

An inner product is provided for dimension-varying state space. Under the topology deduced by this inner product, a projection from higher dimensional vector space to lower dimensional vector space is proposed. It is used to build least square approximated lower dimensional systems for higher dimensional systems. The technique is then used to produce projective realization of cross-dimensional system. Certain properties are investigated.
