A Survey on Data Mining Methods Available for Recommendation System

This paper gives the overview of the methods available in recommendation system, such as how data mining techniques can be implemented in the context of recommending the things to the web users. We first portray the different data preprocessing methods, how data sampling is done or how data dimension is reduced, and how data is analyzed. We outline the K-means algorithm and association rules related algorithm for efficient process of training the data set. In addition to the data mining techniques, how these techniques are implemented in recommendation systems are portrayed.
