The paper is devoted to the problem of consistency-based preprocessing of MMPI data for classification tasks. MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) is a standardized psychometric test of adult personality and psychopathology. The MMPI test delivers psychometric data in a form of the so-called profiles consisting of values of thirteen descriptive attributes (corresponding to scales). The preprocessing procedure covers the filtration of cases using consistency factors calculated according to the original rough set based approach. The proposed filtration enables us to simplify the size of classifiers without a significant loss of their classification ability.
