This paper is interested in ontology learning from relational databases make use of semantics in the database and translating them in automatic or semi-automates ways. The lack of semantic richness is one of the disadvantage of a relational database. Relational models are less expressive and incapable to support some conceptualizations. Schema analysis is one way that can be used to represent knowledge that is explicitly defined in databases. Establishment rules based on the schema should consider the possible primary key and foreign key relationships that may occur in relational database schema. This paper aims to present some issues that need to be considered for tranform relational database to ontology based on reverse engineering proccess.
