The main goal of data mining is to discover knowledge in databases; this knowledge is not easily spotted and usually hidden. This knowledge can used to help make decisions in various situations including management in companies. The decision tree is a technique used to create and organize the sorting rules. In this paper, we present and propose the evolution of the C4.5 algorithm to incorporate uses of fuzzy logic to maximize the quality of the process. We use the Gaussian function as membership function, which is ideal for systems where the attributes or Characteristics follow a normal distribution.
