Preliminary Study to Quantify the Shape Change of the Pole in Pole Vaulting - Detection of the Pole from Video

In pole vaulting, how vaulter bends a pole strongly and shift it to jumping power is an important technical factor. To clarify their process, we are trying to describe the shape change of pole three-dimensionally. This time, as the first step, we propose a method to extract the pole region based on machine learning.
