LUIS is an NLU system that we have used extensively and is a good learning tool for us to apply the important concepts of intent classification and entity extraction. You can access the system by going to https://luis.ai . Once you log in using a Microsoft account, you will be shown a page describing how to build a LUIS app. This is a good introduction to the different tasks we will be accomplishing in this chapter. Once you are done, click the “R button near the bottom. You will be taken to a page with your LUIS applications. Click the “R button and enter a name; a LUIS app will be created for you where you can create a new model and train, test, and publish it for use via an API when ready.
