To improve the development and operation efficiency of simulation by grid technology, a grid-based integrated framework for simulation (GIFS) with emerging grid computing technology as the background was proposed. Aiming at the running characteristics of simulation task in grid, a grid resource selection method based on communication mode was proposed. Then, an N-M task scheduling strategy for sequence simulation was proposed. The simulation result proved that this strategy solved the running problem of performance simulation experiments. It not only shortened the simulation running time, but also effectively avoided the instability of the grid system. It is concluded that the GIFS framework solves the migration of the traditional simulation environment to the grid and clarifies the dynamic discovery of HLA-based federated services and the dynamic integration of the state-manager.
