This report deals with the development of diagnostic software for a real-time spectral analysis system. The report gives a description of the spectral analysis system and its associated maintainability and reliability problems. The diagnostic system is comprised of a read-only memory board containing a small operating system and diagnostic tests. Detailed descriptions and listings of the tests and operating system are provided. (Author)
