Extending traditional user assistance systems to support an auditory interface

Aidan Kehoe, Flaithrí Neff, Ian J. Pitt · Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Applications · 2007

Speech technology can be used to complement traditional user assistance techniques and mitigate some of these problems. This paper describes the implementation of an auditory assistance system, and discusses some of the issues encountered in the design and development relevant to such systems.
