Video is the most common multimedia resources that are used and it is mandatory to protect them from third party. In this paper, we present an encryption technique to protect H.264/AVC videos from the unauthorized people. The proposed technique is based on the entropy coding process CAVLC that encodes the syntax elements of video data to maintain small bandwidth. The proposed technique is based on Baker's map, which is a two dimensional chaotic map. Baker's map are used to design the pseudorandom number generator (PRNG). The proposed PRNG system is used to encrypt the selected syntax elements that want to be decrypted as trailing ones and run_before. The experimental analysis shows that the proposed technique gives better encryption results, where all the visual information of the video are concealed. The proposed technique is secured against common attacks and has low computational requirements.
