Now-a-days Wi-Fi is used almost everywhere as a local area network. Generally, in campus wide networks, there are places in which the signal strength is very week or there is no signal. This causes the non-connectivity of the persons in that zone and some very urgent and important communications may be lost. We have attempted to solve this Coverage problem by identifying the locations/zones where there is a poor signal strength using coverage tool and Google maps. In this work, we have identified the dead zones of the network and proposed locations of the APs (access points) to have optimum coverage of the campus.
