MANET plays a very crucial role in todays communication system where most of the communicating devices are mobile. As MANET has no fixed infrastructure they are prone to malicious node attacks. In this paper we are concentrating on the effects of delay, throughput, PDR (packet delivery ratio), on the various protocols like CBDS, Dynamic Source Routing and CBDS with 85 and 95 percent threshold depending on the change in the number of nodes. Here it is noted that in PDR, CBDS is the best while in delay DSR is the best and in dropping ratio CBDS with 85 percent threshold is the weakest. In throughput and energy DSR is weak while in case of jitter all are similar. This paper also gives insight on the PDR for different protocols depending on malicious node ratio, here DSR is a little backward. The collaboration of CBDS along with Certificate Authority by calculating Trust Vector (TV) has overcome the drawback of previous system like delay and routing overhead.
