Now a day's a large amount of the authentication and identification of person by using biometrics is necessary for security purpose. Hence the use of the biometrics goes on increasing. Biometrics is a method which is used to automatic identification of person by considering the behavioral or physiological characteristics. The identification of fingerprint maximum crucial biometric technologies which has drawn a large quantity of attention these days. The area of expertise of a fingerprint is completely decided by the neighborhood ridge characteristics and their relationships. Most of the peoples misuses the current biometric system by constructing the fake finger tip from clay and gelatin. To avoid this, in this paper we proposed the algorithm for the liveness detection by using wavelet. This algorithm helps to find the fake finger tip. Also due to the different skin and impression conditions of human body, the fingerprint pictures get corrupted and degraded. Therefore, it is necessary to design a proper image enhancement technique which is used to extract the different features of fingerprint pictures. Hence in this paper uses a quick fingerprint enhancement and extracts a finer points, which could adaptively improve the readability of edge and crease structures of entered fingerprint snap shots and which is totally based on the predicted nearby edge orientation and frequency. To design the proposed system, the Matlab software is used. The experimental results shows the proposed set of rules increases the accuracy of an internet fingerprint verification system.
