Quantum mechanics and theory of computation

Rajiv Lochan Pareek · 2017

Researchers with different background, from physics through computer science, and information theory to mathematics and philosophy have been investigating in the area of quantum based computation that forced to rethink on almost every fundamental research problem, what it means to compute? This provides a theoretical and experimental platform for exploring the field of quantum mechanics. This article contains small fraction of quantum mechanics needed for the basic quantum based computation and describes the notion of quantum architecture. Finally ends with the presentation of Deutsch's algorithm followed by Shor's factorization algorithm that breaks, the most used public key crypto-systems.
