Crop planning optimization with social spider optimization algorithm

Crop planning is a Multi-objective optimization problem, also called as NP-Hard Problem. The crop planning problem has many factors, in that some can be optimized and some cannot be optimized. The main aim of the crop planning is to improve the profit and productivity with the low input cost and resources. Objective of this paper is, to maximize the agricultural profit for improving the economic status of farmers and optimize the land utilization by minimizing the land wastage (unused land). The Social Spider Algorithm is used to solve the problem. This algorithm gives an optimal solution to the crop planning problem.
