Abstract : This report covers phase II of an investigation to identify methods of quantitatively assessing software reliability. A set of software reliability models were used in estimating reliability parameters in a developmental testing environment. These methods demonstrated that software reliability models are one tool available to the tester for providing quantitative assessments of software reliability.
