Emotion Recognition from Text

Harvesting knowledge from huge information is a tedious task.Recommender systems play an important role in suggesting to a user.Emotion is a personal feeling of every individual.Various types of emotions include anger, anticipate, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, surprise and trust.This paper details about the machine learning based emotion detection.Various classifiers like Naive Bayes, Support vector machines, Neural networks, and their combinations were used to detect the human emotions.The attained accuracy for each of the method against each of the emotions are provided.In addition to finding emotions, a recommendation approach is proposed based on the emotions from the text.
