University graduates with up-to-date software engineering knowledge are required for the software industry. In order to manage software project efficiently, a hybrid approach named Scrumban, that borrows advantages of Scrum and Kanban, is applied increasingly to software development projects; ways of practices of Scrum are mixed with Kanban techniques to display visibility of workflow. In this paper, the main contribution is to conduct the influence of Scrumban to the perceptions of undergraduate software engineering students in the University of Phayao, based on the selected success factors of the adoption of Agile software development. The organization dimension is excluded because the participants lack real workplace experience. The preliminary results showed that the success factors in People dimension come first from the responses.
