A Review of Digital Image Watermarking based on Firefly Algorithm

Recent years Nature-inspired algorithms (NIA) has gained more popularity in the problems, based on the optimizations. Many new NIAs has been developed in the recent years like Genetic algorithms (GA), Cuckoo search (CS), Particle swarm optimization (PSO), Firefly Algorithm (FA), Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). A survey of the firefly algorithm that is used for digital image watermarking is presented in this paper. Like other NIAs, Firefly algorithm is widely used in the digital image watermarking, for finding the optimal pixel value position in the host image.
