Microcomputer software for individual or simultaneous inverse modeling of transient electromagnetic, resistivity, and induced polarization soundings

Stewart K. Sandberg · Rutgers University Community Repository (Rutgers University) · 1990

This report presents microcomputer software for the quantitative interpretation of geoelectric soundings. Five computer programs are included which are useful for data input, data reduction, and one-dimensional inverse modeling applied to resistivity, induced polarization (IP), and transient electromagnetic (TEM) methods. The inverse modeling program has the capability to model fielddata sets either individually or simultaneously from these methods. In addition, standardized data-file formats for the TEM central loop induction configuration, and the Schlumberger resistivity/IP array are introduced.
