Sudden death of entanglement in a two-atoms optical Stern-Gerlach model

Recently, it has been realized that non local disentanglement may take a finite time as opposite to the long decay time of local coherences. We find in this paper that a sudden irreversible death of entanglement takes place in a two atom optical Stern-Gerlach model, so showing that a single degree of freedom but of continuous variables may play the role of a reservoir.
