A study on tactics for college website at search engine optimization

This paper studies the working mechanism of the current search engine, and then according to the main factors which influence the inclusions and the search engine ranking rules, and it combines with the operation and maintenance of the website, proposes a search engine optimization strategy for website design, keywords, web pages, external links and other aspects for university websites. This paper combines with the Website of the School of Continuing Education of Ocean University of China, because it is the author's working organization, so it is relative easily to do some research, we using search engine optimization method to optimize it, optimize web page structure design, keyword and location, improve page title, description, header text, web page text and link. Through the analysis of data, we conclude that through search engine optimization(SEO), the website has been well promoted, and the popularity of the website has been improved, and a good brand effect has been established.
