High efficiency IEEE 802.11ax MU-MIMO and frame aggregation analysis

High Efficiency Wireless Local Area Network IEEE 802.11ax was introduced as an amendment for the IEEE 802.11 standard following a long series of enhancements. Unlike its predecessor, it aims to improve the performance based on the efficiency instead of the throughput. Due to the newness of the standard, many aspects are still unexplored. In our paper, we shed light on the new concepts introduced in this amendment along with older one which have been enhanced to better suit higher efficiency. Most importantly, we examine the MU-MIMO and frame aggregation scenarios, which remain an open challenge. We then proceed to analyze the performance of this amendment under various parameters in order to cover several cases.
