Software Architecture involves the description of elements from which systems are built, interactions among elements, patterns that guide their composition and constraints. A Software Architecture system is a composition of components; it contains a Global control structure of the system, specifies the protocols for communication; Synchronization and data access; Assignment of functionality to design elements; Composition of design elements; physical distribution; scaling and performance; dimensions of evolution, and selection of design alternatives.
