Blind Deconvolution of Multi-Input-Multi-Output Finite Impulse Response Systems

Yujiro Inouye, Rueywen Liu · Proceedings of the ISCIE International Symposium on Stochastic Systems Theory and its Applications · 1999

A fundamental theorem on blind deconvolution of multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) finite impulse response (FIR) systems driven by white spatially independent non-gaussian signals is presented. Roughly speaking, it states that blind deconvolution is achieved if and only if the composite output signals are temporally uncorrelated and spatially independent. This condition is simple enough to be implemented by numerical algorithms.
