Modeling and Analysis of Software Defined Virtual Mobile Core Networks

With the rapid growth of user traffic and the need to reduce costs, today's mobile operators are faced with severe challenges. New networking concepts have emerged aiming at cost reduction and flexibility, namely Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Network Virtualization (NV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). The goal of this thesis is to design an optimal mobile core network based on SDN, NV and NFV.
