Efficient data search in partially structured peer-to-peer network using aggregate queries and replication of database at certain nodes in the network.

Peer-to-peer networks are used to share large amount of data files in remote locations. File replication is the most used technique for increasing the performance of file sharing in peer-to-peer system. The paper presents a novel method to find out the desired file or application in a partially structured local peer-to-peer network. The system is a combination of client/server system and peer-to-peer model. Using aggregate rule analyser and replication of data we can guarantee the availability of desired data to a certain extent at low cost and timely consistency maintenance. Due to random selection of peers, the latency of the system is reduced and also creates a unique experience for the user. Furthermore the local database contains the entries for each transaction and produces a report for review later on.
