Preparation of paleontological plates

Rodney M. Feldmann · The Paleontological Society Special Publications · 1989

Arrangement of photographic illustrations as they will appear on the published page represents one important aspect in the culmination of the preparation process. In general, questions of tone of the illustrations, scale of each of the individual illustrations, and arrangement of the illustrations on the plate are the primary factors that must be considered in preparing the finished product.
