Some Practical Issues
R. Todd Ogden · Birkhäuser Boston eBooks · 1997
In earlier chapters it may have seemed that wavelets and multiresolution analysis were treated more as a collection of interesting mathematical ideas than as a powerful method for solving practical problems. In fact, much of the beauty of wavelet analysis lies in its widespread applications. This chapter will discuss important issues that arise in moving wavelets from theory to practice. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
