Conventional computer performance management efforts are founded upon a professional DP point of vie\'1.The user's view is quite different, containing no technical detail and concentrating on only three aspects of the system.Each of these three aspects possesses user-oriented performance attributes which, in turn, suggest the kinds of performance information necessary to develop a user-oriented view of system performance.
