Novel Korean finger language recognition using EMG and motion sensors

This study suggests a new finger language recognition method by adopting EMG, accelerometer and gyro sensors attached to wrist. The proposed Korean finger language is consists of 6 vowels and 6 consonants and three functions: `Add stroke', `Double consonant' and `Delete'. In the experiments, it is shown that the accuracy of each motion is improved by 5%.
