Reliability in IoT Era

Internet of Things are going to be part of our lives and it is inevitable. As our lives will depend so much on the IoT in future, its reliable performance is of paramount important. Unfortunately, many efforts are placed on the development of various hardward, software and network for the IoT, and very few are reporting how to ensure the reliability of the IoT system. Reliability is not given by default, and one must put in concreted efforts in order to ensure reliability. In this talk, I will discuss a few important possible reliability issues with the IoT system and this will provide abundant new opportunity for future research.
