Similar to the Artin-Schreier hypersurface case, we expect that for fixed e, under suitable hypotheses, an improved estimate of the form |#Kf,m(Fq)− qn| ≤ c(n, k, d)q(n+1)/2, see Rojas-Leon [2470] for new results in this direction.
