An integrated method for automated biomedical image segmentation

Automated biomedical image segmentation is one of the major research area. In this work an integrated approach has been developed for automated biomedical image segmentation. Level set image segmentation method has been employed for automated biomedical image segmentation. Level set algorithm needs to be configured appropriately i.e. its parameters should be properly adjusted. Manual participation sometimes required for proper adjustment of these values. To overcome this issue, a fuzzy clustering has been employed to for initial segmentation. The controlling parameters of level set method can be computed using the fuzzy clustering method. This method enhances efficiency of the level set method.
