Shouhua Wang, Jinbao Guo, Dandan Xu · 2018

Aiming at the contact operation problem of the mechanical switch button of the kitchen garbage crusher, a non-contact low-power gesture proximity switch is proposed in this paper. The realization scheme of proximity switch is discussed, and the importance of gesture recognition proximity switch in intelligent control of kitchen waste crusher is further explained. Using 32 bit ARM processor of Cortex-M3 kernel, combined with APDS-9960 environment brightness optical sensor, accurate recognition of human dynamic gestures is realized. Considering the power consumption of the device, the processor's shutdown wake-up mode and the low power miniature induction PIR sensor wake-up system is adopted, Ultra low power consumption is achieved. The experimental results show that the gesture recognition rate of the proximity switch is more than 93%, the normal operating current of the device is 38mA, and the working current of the shutdown mode is less than 20uA. Compared with the traditional contact type mechanical buttons, kitchen garbage grinder adopts non-contact gesture proximity switch, the user operation will be more convenient, fast, health, it will provide the basis for the realization of future intelligent appliances and the wisdom of the city.
