The paper proposes an approach, identifies and formulates the necessary condition for the existence of a discrete coded sequence irrespective of the dimension of its alphabet, proposes a model of reflections and transformations of ordered sets of elements of a sequence, an example of a binary sequence with an optimized aperiodic autocorrelation function obtained based on the proposed approach.
