A carrier recovery arrangement and method comprising a comparator, such as alimiting amplifier, and a frequency divider, wherein said comparator has an inputport for a modulated input signal and an input port for a constant bias voltage. Thefrequency divider is coupled to the output signal of said comparator, wherein saidinput port for a constant bias voltage is arranged to receive a constant bias voltagedifferent from a mean value of said modulated input signal.
