Secret image sharing scheme is a systematic approach for transmitting secret images safely. The conventional visual secret image sharing (VSS) has a limitation of sharing one secret image at once. Over the passage of time, there emerges requirement of transmitting more secret images at once. To meet this requirement, Multi-secret image sharing (MSIS) method forms multiple shared images by encrypting multiple secret images. In the previous methods of MSIS, secret images (n) are encrypted either into n or n+1 public images but these methods have the drawback that some secret images can be recovered from less number of shared images. Which violates the threshold security principle of (n, n)-MSIS scheme. Therefore we need a more secure MSIS which does not disclose information concerning secret images from less than n shared images. In this paper, we present an (n, n)-MSIS scheme, which uses a random image generating function (F) and image encryption algorithm. Initially, random image generating function and encryption algorithm used to produce random images. Later, shared images are generated by applying XOR operation on random and secret images. In this method secret images cannot reconstructed, if all shared images are not available. Outcomes of this method shows that it takes less time for sharing and recovery processes.
