Analysis and design of service oriented architecture based in public senior high school academic information system

Senior High School is a secondary formal education in Indonesia after graduating from Junior High School. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 9 Manado (Public School) which is the leading school in Manado city. As a school that counted SMA Negeri 9 Manado is required to be able to provide Academic Information System that can support the academic process in school. This Academic Information System is developed by using the principle of Service Oriented Architecture, Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the visual language for system modeling and using Prototype development method. Development of this application is tested by using black box to determine whether the application created successfully developed and in accordance with the purpose.
