In this paper is presented a computational tool to track and evaluate turning kicks in martial arts. The proposed tool is composed of three accelerometers placed on athlete's legs to collect information about the dynamics of the movement. In order to be adapted to measures of individual players, a position calibration protocol is done. Then considering legs segments of as rigid, all reference frames transformations are corrected and adjusted. Results show that our tool is a reliable alternative for analyzing the wrestler's kick and overall athlete's performance. Moreover sensors used are very easy to find, making a very cheap tool for motion analysis.
