OLED panels inspection using SURF algorithm

In modern society, object recognition applications using cameras are embedded in various devices. In this paper, SURF based hardware is proposed to accelerate the vision inspection system of OLED display panels. We chose a parallel processing structure and a method to reduce memory in order to develop small size and real time processing of the product. We compared the results of Matlab software with HDL-designed product and then verified the operation in Modelsim simulation. The proposed hardware will effectively perform durability and functional inspection of OLED panels.
